- With the pitcher blindfolded/eyes closed, deliver a pitch and have them tell the coach or practice partner where they think it went (be specific with direction).
- Once they verbalize the location, make a visual adjustment—a different spot to target—and work to correct the actual location of the pitch.
- Visualizing the pitch will help develop feel, and will create a trust for the pitch.
- Location is about feeling, with the pitcher making adjustments to develop control.
