David Dagostino, Jr. has carved out a unique niche in higher education and professional and collegiate athletics. With over 25 years of experience, he has successfully combined technology and analytics with his personal experiences as a professional athlete, a college coach, a scout, and a non-profit founder in an effort to globalize sports and education.

He, his wife Alison (a former Division1 basketball player), and their four children have founded Sisu Life, a 501c3 non-profit, rooted in a series of techniques to help children learn how to develop a strategy of processing mistakes and turning them into life principles. Dave has successfully aligned the group with school settings (public, private, homeschool), youth sports, the military, prison reform system, global cleanup efforts, and baseball development in South Africa. Brazil, Russia, India, China, and Korea.

Dave currently serves as the Managing Director for HGI, and executive search firm, and gained notoriety for his efforts in the use of artificial intelligence as a tool to combat cognitive bias in the hiring process. His methodology creates a more equitable and equal process that will benefit all candidates, most specifically, minorities and women. His main areas of focus are leadership positions in Higher Education, Professional Athletics, and Collegiate Athletics. Consistent with his drive to collaborate, Dave has also floated his technique to the transportation, technology, and health care industries. He maintains involvement with the following groups:

Dave holds a BS in Psychology and Foreign Languages from Union College (NY) and a MS in Education (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from State University of NY (Albany). He also holds an advance Certificate of Completion from Columbia University (NY) from their Sports Management department in using Technology and Analytics to Globalize Sports. In his spare time, Dave runs Ultra Marathons and is in the process of authoring his first book.
